December 3rd-7th: Last week’s assessment showed that our class is struggling with long multiplication (for example, 345x678= ___). Every student will benefit from extra practice at home with three digit times three digit numbers.
We are continuing our unit on long division. Please practice this skill at home and take advantage of real-world opportunities to practice. We will take another test on long division Thursday. Ask your student about our "division monster", and the steps we practice in class (divide, multiply, subtract, bring down).
